  1. 1841 Census - St Benedict, Huntingdonshire
    1851 Census - Wistow, Huntingdonshire
1861 Census - Ripps Road, Martham, Norfolk. There was a son a George ALLPRESS, aged 2 born Wistow, Huntingdonshire. (I am certain this is correct person etc as George was with his Grandparents on the 1871 Census. James was the most like contender for being the father of this child.
1871 Census - 5 Black Street, Martham, Norfolk.
1881 Census - 6 Brick Yard, Alfreton, Derbyshire.
1891 Census - Wharf Road, Pinxton, Derbyshire. There was a William B ALLPRESS, brother with the family, a Coal Miner.

1901 Census - Census - Malthouse Row, Tibshel, Derbyshire. (Now found, as Sarah is down as Jane, searched for Aver* born 1893) (Six children on this Census)

1901 Census - Main Street, Rolleston, Nottinghamshire
1911 Census - King Street Southwell, Nottinghamshire. With the family was Sarah Edith ALEXANDER, niece aged 17 born Tibshelf, Derbyshire and Ernest Arthur RENSHAW aged 2 born Milford, Derbyshire
Marriage comes up on BMD, which I think is correct but only one name appears.
  7. 1871 Census - 5 Black Street, Martham
  8. 1871 Census - 5 Black Street, Martham
1881 Census - 6 Brick Yard, Alfreton, Derbyshire.
1891 Census - Wisbech Road Thorney, Cambridgeshire. With a John PARKER and his family.
1901 Census -Goodley Cottages, Midland Road, Royston, Yorkshire. James is down as being born in Pinxton, Derbyshire, which he was not, however his family lived in Pinxton, so he either made a mistake and put down where his parents lived or he thought he was born there. His wife was born in Lincolnshire, the marriage we have is in Lincolnshire. I am therefore fairly certain that this is the correct family. They had a servant a Maria BOLTON, aged 13 a Domestic Servant born Royston, Yorkshire.
1911 Census - 71 St Johns Road Rotherham, Yorkshire. There was a Harry STORR a visitor aged 48 a Navy Pensioner and Postman born Welton, Lincolnshire with the family. (possibly a brother of Sarah)
IGI marriage details - submitted by a member of the LDS church - BMD only shows James William ALLPRESS, no females.

  11. 1881 Census -6 Brick Yard, Alfreton, Derbyshire.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
