1901 31 Constantine Road, Hampstead, London
  2. 1881 The Rising Sun, High Street, Somersham, Huntingdonshire
1891 Chepstow Villas, Kensington Town, Kensington, London. Servant to Lewis GREY (35) West Indian Merchant shown as son but no parents listed, Rosalie JONES (37) married shown as daughter both born St Pancras, Middlesex and grandson Lewis J P JONES (1) born Greenwich, Kent. Other servants were Elizabeth PETERS (45) single Cook (Domestic) born Britall, Bedfordshire and Rose PALMER (54) single Parlour Maid born St Pancras, Middlesex
1898 Winchmore Hill, London (at marriage)
1900 1 Bradiston Road, Kilburn, Westminster, London (baptism of Edward Kimpton)
1901 31 Constantine Road, Hampstead, London
1911 Bramdean House, Alresford, Hampshire. (Louisa on the census is shown as married, this has been crossed out and underneath widow has been written) She is servant to a Hubert GARLE aged 55 born in Kilburn a Gentleman. Hubert wife and three children are with him and then there are a lot of servants.
1916 Louisa is down in Kelly's directory for Cambridge as CANAVOR Louisa (Mrs.), shopkeeper
1920 Louisa sailed from Liverpool arriving in Quebec, Canada on 20th July 1920 on the ship "Canada", down as born in Somersham, Huntingdonshire and aged 46 she has put herself down as widowed she paid ofr passage herself and was going to Canada to settle. and was going to a relative at 608 Edmund Street, Edwards? British Columbia. Her closest relative is given as Mother Louisa HINKINS, Somersham, Huntingdonshire. With her, down with surname PITALUGA, were a Kathleen aged 12, and Maurice aged 13. Kathleen I believe is really Kathleen CANAVOR as age is correct for her but I do not know where Maurice fits in, but in pen handwritten on the Passenger List he has written by his name Infantile Paralysis, also some words typed which I cannot read, and under the family entry is written Husband will send her money during visit. They are going to Vancouver, but on the form when she arrives in Quebec she has put she is a widow and it is not a visit as she intends to settle.
1933 Louisa sailed to Canada giving her address in England as 8 Lansdowne Terrace, Eastbourne and her occupation as a Housewife, Departing 7th October 1933 on the "Empress of Britain" sailing to Quebec in Canada. She had no one with her.  Her children were all in Canada so assume she was going to be with them.
  3. 1918 Salvador or Gibraleter Station, East Falkland Island (address given at probate IF correct person
It is possibly that Alexander McIntosh PITALUGA was born on 28th November 1853 in the Falkland Islands and died as shown above, He had married an Agnes MERCER but she had died in 1903, so quite possible that he married Louisa CANAVOR in 1917 but I have no proof this was the correct Alexander. Andreas on the probate shown above was a brother.
  4. 1900 1 Bradiston Road, Kilburn, Westminster, London (baptism of Edward Kimpton)
1901 31 Constantine Road, Hampstead, London
1911 The Orphanage, Messing, Kelvedon, Essex. The Matron was an Emma Louisa GODDARE a widow aged 43 born Dorchester, Dorset. 12 children are listed.
1914-1920 WWI Service Medal and Medal Awards. He is down as Name: Edward Kempton CANAVOR Military Year: 1914-1920 Rank: Act. The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
