William
CARR

born

1834?
  1. Father (on marriage details) Henry CARR - Excise Officer.
  2. Have added Sarah JOHNSON as first marriage as on the marriage of Henry to Elizabeth BRAYSHAW is says he was a widower, I was hopeful that I might find William CARR born 1834, however on the 1841 Census the is a Henry and Sarah CARR but there is no William with them,  the is a SImeon, Henry and Elizabeth. There is another Henry CARR in Calverley and he is married to an Elizabeth and has a child Ann so again nothing conclusive.
  3. 1851 Census - Cannot find at the present time.
1861 Census - 8 South Road, Great Crosby, Lancashire. Sarah J ILLINGWORTH, niece aged 32 no occupation born Idle Yorkshire was with Betty on this Census. Also a  Servant and two lodgers with them.
1871 Census - 21 Canning Street, Great Crosby, Lancashire. James WEBSTER, nephew a Baker aged 24 born Waterloo, Yorkshire with Betty on this Census
1881 Census - 21 Canning Street, Great Crosby, Lancashire Sarah Jane ILLINGWORTH niece, Rachel WEBSTER great niece and John Thomas WEBSTER nephew with Betty on this Census.
  4. At the present time I cannot find any trace of William, I am told he was born in 1834 and the marriage of Henry to Elizabeth was in 1842 so if this is correct perhaps he has the name BRAYSHAW not CARR.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
