Parent as above, John his father is down as a Miller and Corn Merchant. There are a total of 10 children on this Census. 1871 Census - 151 - 157 Oxford Street, Cavendish Square, Marylebone, Middlesex 1881 Census - 196 Plymouth Grove, Cholton on Medlock, Lancashire. Lancashire was a Servant RG11; Piece: 3917; Folio: 130; Page: 3; Line: ; GSU roll: 1341935. 1891 No information on 1891 and 1901 census found, no death found (I think they emigrated to Australia in 1883 but this needs confirmation) 1903 14 Parkside Street, Malvern, Kooyong, Victoria, Australia (Australian Electoral Roll) This confirms that they were in Australia in 1903 as William, Emma and the first three children all appear on the Electoral Roll, also with Dorothy which we has not record of before, no age or birth place is given on the Electoral Roll, so I have assumed that if my thinking that they emigrated in 1883 and we have only records of the first three children being born in England, Dorothy must have been born in Australia. 1909 14 Parkside Street, Malvern, Kooyong, Victoria, Australia (Australian Electoral Roll) 1914 Not on Electoral Roll with rest of family. 1851 Shingles?, Northfleet, Kent. At this address on this Electoral Roll is only Mary Caroline, so either John was not with her or had died between 1931 and 1936 Information about Arthur CARTHEW from Melanie MORRIS There was a birth entry in March quarter 1883 in Chorlton, Lancashire which would fit.
