    Obituary: Thomas James Clayton
    "Hendy-Osborne Fan"
Thomas James Clayton, 78, died Feb. 14, 2004 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born May 25, 1925 in Los Angeles, CA to Harris George Clayton and Ethel Beatrice Ledger. Married Ellen Marion Hawthorne in Los Angeles, and they were married for 23 years before divorcing.
He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy in the Solomon Islands, and worked for 41 years as a machinist for Adams-Rite Manufacturing. He was not a church-goer, but he was a Christian man who was kind to all. He was an avid sports fan, and attended as many of his grandchildren's events as he possibly could. Made many "sacrifices" for the sake of his family, and he made everyone laugh. "Papa, Smoker Man, and Gimpy" will be dearly missed. "We'll see ya later. Watch over us as you can."
Survived by daughter, Lori Hendy-Osborne (Michael), Midvale; son, Gary Clayton, Midvale; daughter,
Christina Raitano (Nick), Montrose, CA; grandchildren, Ben, Seth and Michelle Hendy (Nate), Aliyah
Michelle Osborne, Heather and Nicky Raitano; great-grandchildren, Chandler and Joey Raitano; and son-in-law, Rick Hendy.
Funeral services Friday, Feb. 20, 2004, at 11 a.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, where friends may call
Thurs., 7-9 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to services. Interment, Utah Veterans Memorial Park.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
