    ALBERT GEORGE COBB, eldest son of Marion and Arthur COBB was born at Fife Lake, Saskatchewan on June 23, 1920. He was educated at Delightsome Valley School and joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1941 as a wireless operator. He served in Canada, Britain and North Africa during the war and returned to Canada in 1944 as a Warrant Officer first class. He then became a member of the Ferry Command and transported planes to Britain from Montreal, Quebec.
    On June 3, 1944, Bert married Grace Kathleen FRASER of Calgary, Alberta to whom he had become engaged during his R.C.A.F. wireless training in Calgary in 1941.
    After the war, Bert continued his education at Ryerson Institute in Toronto, Ontario and became a Broadcast Engineer. He designed and installed the radio station at Guelph, Ontario in 1948, the then designed and supervised the installation of the television station at Kingston, Ontario, where he was chief engineer for twelve years. In 1960, he designed the television station for C K Y in Winnipeg, Manitoba and Director of Engineering for that station until his retirement due to ill health in 1971.
    Bert died on May 3, 1973, his father Arthur passed away in July of 1973, he was predeceased by his only brother Archie in November of 1972.
    Marion COBB is a resident of the Assinboia Pioneer Lodge and a COBB family reunion was held for her ninetieth birthday on December 21, 1980.
