  1. 1851 Woodbury Hill, Bere Regis, Dorset.
1861 11 Woodbury Hill, Bere Regis, Dorset
1871 21 Brownings Place, Greenwich, Kent as William
1881 44 Doddington Gardens, Battersea, London
1891 10 Barmore Street, Battersea, London as William. There has been considerable difficulty in finding Levi/William on this census. Eventually the  following information was found. John TERRY writes "I am certain it is the right family, but  it is quite unbelievable. Living at the address are William LONG, Head (44) born Bere Regis, Dorset, General Labourer, Jane LONG (44) born Greenwich, Kent, Robert LONG (15) Paper Shainer born Battersea, London, Henry LONG (11) Scholar born Battersea, London, George LONG (6) Scholar born Battersea, London and William LONG (4) Scholar born Battersea, London. All this information corresponds with details we have for this family except for the name being LONG instead of COBB. On the actual census return it is definitely LONG and not COBB and Levi is entered as William, as he was in 1871.
1901 10 Barmore Street, Battersea, London

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
