The above is the best I can do to transcribe the Casualty form it is in places difficult to decipher, there are a lot of initials used and a lot of "ditto" which in most cases I have spelt out. However as can be seen he spent a lot of time in Hospital having been Gassed and suffering from Bronchitus etc. It can also be seen that he was indeed in Dartford, presumably at the Orchard Hospital at the time of his marriage to Ethel TERRY.

    Newspaper Obituary
    Mr. J. A. Condick
Mr. James Andrew (Frank) Condick, a highly-esteemed member of a well-known family who have resided in Tongala and Kyabram districts for more than 50 years, passed away on Friday at the Tongala B.N.A. Hospital.
Deceased, who was 67 years of age, was born at Beaufort, his parents being the late William and Agnes Condick. He was a member of the 38th Battalion 3rd Division salvage Company, and served the the First World War. His marriage with Miss Ethel Terry was solemnised at Dartford, Kent, England. For a number of years he had resided at Tongala, but due to war service disabilities he was unable to carry out his occupation as a brickmaker. As a young man he was keenly interested in athletic pursuits. He was a splendid boxer, foot runner, and followed football with enthusiasm.
The funeral took place on Saturday to the Tongala cemetery. Prior to the lengthy cortege leaving the Presbyterian Church, an impressive service was conducted by the Rev. R. G. Mitchell, who also officiated at the graveside.
    Coffin-bearers were Messrs. T. Newton, K. Wood, M. Miller, F. Charlton, R. Wenn, J. Purdey. Fall-bearers: Messrs. J. Simpson, F. Trevskis, T. Tinning, N. Gemmill, W. Whitfield, A. Trinning.
A special R.S.L. service was also conducted at the graveside.
The floral tributes were numerous and beautiful testimony of the esteem in which the deceased was held by members of the community.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
