(baptism of Rhoda Mary) (Name down as OVERTON) Father Frederick OVERTON a Carpenter, Mother down as Rhoda Mary? (so another problem with this as mothers names should be Mary Elizabeth, she was not married but her future husband was a Frederick but Frederick WHEELER etc) 1911 I think I have found Rhoda on the 1911 Census but see baptism in 1910, She is down as Rhoda May on Ancestry but looking at the Census she could be Rhoda Mary. She is down as a Nurse Child aged 1 year 1 month and down as Rhoda Mary OVERTON. She is at 60 Mansford Street, Bethnal Green, London, with a Frederick George GODFREY aged 36 a Fish Frier born Bethnal Green and Clara S C GODFREY aged 35 down as having been married 11 years and having had 1 child who survives at the date of this Census. She was born in Somers own, London, NW. Son was Frederick George GODFREY aged 9 born Hoxton, Middlesex, There was a Niece aged 20 a Machinist (Canvas) born Bethnal Green, London and then Rhoda Mary down as being born in Hackney, Middlesex. 1939 47 Mount Road, Malden and Coombe, Surrey. At same address is A John William CUNNINGHAM born 21st July 1898 a Motor Van Driver and a Rhoda M CUNNINGHAM born 28th February 1910 Unpaid Domestic Duties. 1964 47 Mount Road, Cambridge Ward, Kingston on Thames district (London Electoral Roll) At this addess John W CUNNINGHAM, Margaret J CUNNINGHAM and Rhoda M CUNNINGHAM 1965 47 Mount Road, Cambridge Ward, Kingston on Thames district (London Electoral Roll) At this address John W CUNNINGHAM, Margaret J CUNNINGHAM and Rhoda M CUNNINGHAM. (Margaret J on the Electoral Roll was born in March quarter 1943 Surrey North Eastern district, Surrey with mothers maiden name as WHEELER) 1987 3 Norman Court, Micklefield Road, High Wycombe (address given at probate) Notes (but also see entries for 1910 and 1911 for her. Not sure where Rhoda Mary fits in. Family Trees on Ancestry show her as a daughter of this couple but she was born three years before they married and I cannot find a Rhoda Mary WHEELER (OVERTON) birth in Gloucestershire. However she appears with mother on the 1939 Register which was put online I would think after the trees shown on Ancestry as none of them show the 1939 entry. Very confused about this child, the baptism shows a Frederick OVERTON as Father which leads me to doubt if right person, but no other Rhoda Mary WHEELER or OVERTON can be found, I spend a long time searching Gloucestershire which trees on Ancestry say that was where she was born. The 1939 register shows her birth date as 28th February 1910 which is exactly the date the baptism shows and why if she was with parents in 1910 when she was baptised would she be a Nurse Child in 1911. All very confusing. I believe there was a child for this couple a Margaret J CUNNINGHAM born March quarter 1943 Surrey North Eastern district, Surrey 1964 47 Mount Road, Cambridge Ward, Kingston on Thames district (London Electoral Roll) At this address John W CUNNINGHAM, Margaret J CUNNINGHAM and Rhoda M CUNNINGHAM 1965 47 Mount Road, Cambridge Ward, Kingston on Thames district (London Electoral Roll) At this address John W CUNNINGHAM, Margaret J CUNNINGHAM and Rhoda M CUNNINGHAM.
