Catherine and Ruby were boarders at what I would think was a Hotel. Children for Edward and Hilda were John Edward BLAKENEY aged 9 School at Home born Sheffield, Yorkshire, William Ernest aged 8 School at Home born Sheffield, Yorkshire, Charles Noel aged 6 School at Home born Sheffield, Yorkshire and Eric Lancelot aged 4 born Sheffield, Yorkshire, they had two servants a Lily CARR aged 22 Single a Cook Domestic born Worsborough Dale, Yorkshire and a Florence Annie PICKEN aged 19 a Houemaid Domestic born Alfreton, Derbyshire. 1881 Boughton under Blean, Kent (Colin DRING: The Drings of Warboys, The Ellington Branch 27/8/2000) 1891 2 Hawthorne Villas, Woodford, Essex 1901 Willesden, Buckhurst Hill, Woodford, Essex 1911 The Beeches Park Grange, Sheffiled, Yorkshire. They had a son Samuel aged 8 months born Sheffield, Yorkshire. Servants were Catherine MARCROFT aged 27 a Domestic Servant Cook, born Ryecroft, Yorkshire, Mary Ann COCKING aged 26 a Domestic Servant Nurse and a Nellie UTTLEY aged 20 a Domestic Servant Housemaid born Woodhouse Mill. (I am sure this is the correct family on the 1911 Census- the marriage took place in Epping the same as her sister, her sister was living in Sheffield, so assumed they moved there as well, the 1911 Census transcription shows Gladys born in Brighton, Kent, but Brighton is in Sussex not Kent and when looking closely at the Census is does say Boughton which is the place Gladys was born). 1891 2 Hawthorne Villas, Woodford, Essex 1901 Willesden, Buckhurst Hill, Woodford, Essex 1911 68-69 Lancaster Gate The Royal, Paddington, London.
