  1. On the IGI the year is shown as 1775 and the bride's surname as HENNESSY.
    On the Marriage Allegation, and on the Bond, the date is 1776 and the name HANNASYE.
    Marriage Allegation and Bond
    The 4 day of January
    On which date appeared personally Thos Dring of the parish of Warboys in the County of Huntingdonshire Diocese of Lincoln and being sworn upon the Holy Evangelists all edged and made Oath as follows, That he is of the ageof twenty years and upwards and a Batchelor and intends to marry Mary Hannasye of the Parish of Warboys aged twenty one years and upwards and a Spinster.
    Not knowing or believing any lawful Lett or Impediment by reason of any pre-contract Entered into before the 25 day of March 1775 consanguin Affinity or any other cause whatsoever to hinder the said intended Marriage and he prayed a Licence to solemnize the said Marriage in the Parish Church of Warboys aforesaid in which said Parish of Warboys the said Thos Dring further made Oath that the said Mary Hannasye hath had her usual Abode for the Sp... of four Weeks last past

    Whiston Surgate (?)
    The Bond was between Thos Dring of Warboys in the County of Huntingdon Collar maker and John Dring of the same Place and Arthur Colier, Doctor of Law....in the full sum of two hundred pounds.
    Dated the 4 January 1776
