    Will of Oliver DRING 1 April 1830
    - to my wife Elizabeth DRING £15 per annum to be paid to her by her son Edward. Also all furniture, linen, fixtures, also occupation of two rooms, the Parlour and the Chamber over the Parlour for life. Also profits from the business from the time of Oliver's death until the nest1 February.
    -to daughter Martha STUTTON after the death of her mother £10 per annum, to be paid half yearly by son Edward
    - to son James DRING £150 to be paid to him by Edward DRING
    - to Edward DRING house and premises, where Oliver now resides with shop, shed, barns, stock in trade, tools, implements shop fixtures and good will of the business on condition he carries on the trade for the benefit of his mother until 1 February next. He must also pay the amount stated to his sister, and pays James £50 one year after Oliver's death if he has reached the age of 21. If not he is to receive the interest on the £50until he is 21, then he can receive the £50. A year after the death of his mother Edward is to give James £100, again, only if he has reached the age of 21. If James dies before inheriting the money is to be divided between the other children.
    - When all debts are collected and paid then the remainder should be invested and the interest paid to his wife. After her death the principal sum was to divided into five equal shares, two share for Edward, one share to Mary Ann DRING and one share to James.

    1851 West End, St Ives, Huntingdonshire. Living with him was his daughter Rebecca THRESHER (22) a widow, and her son Edward

  4. Will of William DRING
    (Information from Colin DRING: The Drings of Warboys, The St Ives Branch25/8/2000)
    - copyhold house, two copyhold lands of 2 roods with two cottages, and all his furniture, tools, etc to his wife to be divided among his children when she died or remarried. He also directed that "whereas I am by my later father's will entitled to one fifth of a certain sum on money on my mother's death" this was to be divided among his children.
    Executor - brother Edward DRING, blacksmith of St Ives.

    1871 Filberts Walk, Hemingford Grey, Huntingdonshire . His wife was with him on this census, also daughter Frances and granddaughter Ada R CREEK (9 months) born Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. Not known at present to which daughter she belongs.
