The Head was a George L ALLEN aged 49 Retired Wesleyan Minster born Burnley, Lancashire, his wife was Mary J aged 51 Principal of Girls Department born Bodmin, Cornwall. They had five children with them. The Head Mistress was a Mary R COLLAWAY aged 26 Teacher General Subject and Kindergarten born Birmingham there wre three other teachers and a lot of pupils.

    Her death shows her as Phyllis Mary T BRADSHAW, but we cannot find her marriage, so possible she married in South Africa.

The Lizzi Jane BRADSHAW aged 14 a Winder in Mill (Cotton Mill) born Standish, Lancashire, then John BRADSHAW aged 10 born Standish, Lancashire and finally William Macdonald.
