  8. 1891 Carroll's ???, Manea, Cambridgeshire
1901 5 Newtons Terrace?, Warboys, Huntingdonshire
  9. 1901 5 Newtons Terrace?, Warboys, Huntingdonshire. Down as George on the 1901 Census but on the BMD he is down as Alfred George.
  10. 1901 5 Newtons Terrace?, Warboys, Huntingdonshire
  11. 1901 5 Newtons Terrace?, Warboys, Huntingdonshire. There appears to be a problem with Harriet. Firstly I cannot find her birth on the BMD which is not uncommon especially as she is down on the 1901 Census as being born in Chatteris and her elder sibling is born in Manea and her younger in Somersham so it appears the family moved around. HOWEVER on the 5th September 2008 Austen LEEDEN with whom I have been working on these charts sent me the following:
FEW, Horace Arthur Corporal – 270087
1st/6th Bn. Manchester Regt. of Ramsey, Born at Chatteris, Cambs, youngest son of David Leeden & Mary Elizabeth FEW of Fortyfeet Bank, Ramsey, was killed in action while attacking a German position on Sunday, 20th October 1918, aged 22 years, and was buried in the Romeries Communal Cemetery Extension, Nord, France. He had seen 17 months service in France, and died about a month after spending a short leave at home with his parents. [Not on Ramsey memorial]
    Formerly 202946 Norfolk Regt.
This would mean that this Horace, definitely a child of this family was born in 1897 and I have found his birth on the BMD as being born in June quarter 1897 in North Witchford district which would be correct for Chatteris. I have looked at the Census again to make sure I did not make a mistake and it definitely says Harriet daughter, but I now think this is incorrect. I have put Harriet in parenthesis on the chart above and have put the information for Horace Arthur in. I do not think there was another child, ie twins because I cannot find a Horace FEW on the 1901 Census ie he might have been with relations, but there are a lot of children and they are all at home, so unless he was ill or something I see no reason why he should not have been with his family. If it is the same person which I believe it is how did the family/enumerator make the mistake.
  12. 1901 5 Newtons Terrace?, Warboys, Huntingdonshire
  13. 1881 Nicholas Lane, St Ives, Huntingdonshire, Annie was with her Grandmother, Mary HILL, aged 48 a widow, Needlewoman born Houghton, Huntingdonshire. There was a son of Mary, Alfred, aged14 an Ag Lab boy, born Hemingford Grey, Huntingdonshire also with the family.
    1891 Carroll's ???, Manea, Cambridgeshire
  14. 1881 Nicholas Lane, St Ives, Huntingdonshire, Joseph was with his Grandmother, Mary HILL, aged 48 a widow, Needlewoman born Houghton, Huntingdonshire. There was a son of Mary, Alfred, aged14 an Ag Lab boy, born Hemingford Grey, Huntingdonshire also with the family.
    1891 Carroll's ???, Manea, Cambridgeshire

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
