  1. 1851 Census - Cole Meadow, Newchurch, Lancashire
  2. 1881 Census - 1 Long Building, Newchurch, Lancashire.
  3. 1871 Census - Long Buildings, Newchurch, Lancashire. On the 1871 Census  it appears regardless as if the wife or the children had occupations the enumerator in Newchurch put everyone down as Farmers wife, Farmers son or Farmer daughter. I am sure some of them as in other Newchurch families I have recorded actually had an occupation. I have not added the Farmers son or daughter for the children but that is how the first five children alive at that time are listed.
  4. 1861 Census - 4 Bank End, Newchurch, Lancashire
  5. 1891 Census - 1 North Street, Newchurch, Lancashire
  6. 1901 Census - 1046 Burnley Road, Rawtenstall, Lancashire. Richard was Head of Household. He was married as above and had a daughter, Annie, aged 1 born Newchurch, Lancashire. His brother Ashworth was living with them.
  7. 1901 Census - Shepherds Clough Farm, Long Bigging, Bacup, (formerly Newchurch), Lancashire. . Emma GREGORY was living with Ruth and her husband. William T GREGORY also down as Head was living in the same property.
  8. 1901 Census - Shepherds Clough Farm. Long Bigging, Bacup, (formerly Newchurch), Lancashire. William and Ruth had the following children. Emma, 17, born Bacup, Lancashire, Willie, 15Underground Miner, born Bacup, Lancashire,  James John 12 Cotton Card Room Hand, born Bacup, Lancashire and Ashworth, aged 9 at School, born Bacup, Lancashire.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
