They were married on the second day of April 1871, and have been living in the neighbourhood of Redhill nearly all their married life. Mr. David Chatfield (who was born at Chipstead, Surrey, and is in his 74th years is the eldest son to the late Mar. and Mrs. Richard Chatfield of Eastbourne, Sussex. He took a great interest in local cricket, and was for some years Captain of the Holmethorpe Cricket Club) Another those who took part in the happy gathering were five sons, all of whom had seen service in the great war.
