  1. 1851 Census - High Street, Over, Cambridgeshire

1871 Census - Turn Land, Over, Cambridgeshire
1881 Census - Lanes, Over, Cambridgeshire - John a widower was with his mother Mary, a Gardener age 59 born Ely, Cambridgeshire. There was also living with Mary a daughter, Elizabeth age 28 born Over, Cambridgeshire. Also with the family was a brother of John's mother. He was a William BRAND aged 50 a Cattle Dealer, born Ely, Cambridgeshire
1891 Census - 1 Turn Lanes, Over, Cambridgeshire. John his the Head on this Census, his mother was still with him, living on her own means. There was also the sister of John, Elizabeth still with the family, aged 38 and his Uncle William BRAND aged 60. The birth place for Mary and William has changed from Ely to Haddenham, Cambridgeshire. (so the same people as the 1881 Census but with no children at home)
1901 Census - Rose Cottage, Chapel Lane, Over, Cambridgeshire. Have now found the NAYLOR connection as Mary A NAYLOR sister is with her brother on this Census, a Housekeeper Domestic aged 46 born Over, Cambridgeshire, as is her daughter Ethel (see 1891 Census), now 23 a Music Governess, born Over, Cambridgeshire, Minnie is back at home and there is also a Harold NAYLOR, nephew, aged 14 a Pupil Teacher, born Horndean, Huntingdonshire.
  2. 1851 Census - Over End Cambridgeshire, with her brother Nathaniel

He was a William BRAND aged 50 a Cattle Dealer, born Ely, Cambridgeshire
1891 Census - 50 King Street, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, Minnie is a Visitor. There must be a connection somewhere to the Naylor family, see Note 7. Minnie is visiting a Joseph NAYLOR, a Grocer and Provision Dealer. I think he was born in Grimsby, Lincolnshire, but his wife Mary and one of their children Ethel were born in Over, Cambridgeshire. I have now looked at the Census more closely and found that Tom INGLE the third child above was also with this family, as an Apprentice Grocer.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
