(Reginald does not seem to know exactly when he was born, but there does seem to be some  confusion as he appears on this Census as being 10 years old so born in 1881 but the registration for him is not until 1884, he then seems to think he was born in that year, but I believe he was born in Mannington in 1881 and was not registered as the family moved to Christchurch, Hampshire about that time and they finally registered him there). In 1911 he makes himself even younger by saying he was 25 years old so born in 1886)
1891 1 New? Cottages, Christchurch, Dorset

1911 Obillhouse, 7 Carnarvon Crescent, Boscombe, Hampshire. I have found a Alice JACOBS and a Minnie JACOBS on this census at this address. Neither of the ages are quite correct but that has been a usual feature of this family and they are both down as being born in Ringwood which they were not but this where they were living from sometime between 1891 and 1901 and beyond, so I think it is too much of a coincidence for them not to be the correct two children. They were living with a James William MANN aged 42 an Accountant and Apartment Housekeeper born Plumstead, Kent and his wife Kathleen MANN aged 42 born Celpholona, Ionian Islands and Apartment Housekeeper
No marriage or death found at present.
  12. 1891 1 New? Cottages, Christchurch, Dorset
1901 Burnt Barn Ringwood, Hampshire  With the family is a May JACOBS aged 2 a Granddaughter born Ringwood, Hampshire and Sydney aged Grandson aged 1 born Ringwood, Hampshire.
1911 Obillhouse, 7 Carnarvon Crescent, Boscombe, Hampshire. I have found a Alice JACOBS and a Minnie JACOBS on this census at this address. Elizabeth says all of her children were alive in 1911 but none were living with her. I have found details for the all of the five males of the family and have now found details for all the daughters on the 1911 Census. She said that she had had 10 children all of whom survive.  Have found three of the boys married in Ringwood where parents John and Elizabeth were living in 1911, the BMD does not show any of the girls names  in Ringwood over the same period. Now found details for Eva, also Alice and Minnie (still single) and now William and now also Watler and now George and now also Fanny, so have now found all of the children on the 1911 Census, all but the last two were married and therefore all of them will have charts going on from them.

I have had a lot of problems with this family, they do not appears to know where they were born, or their ages and in some cases (John for instance, where in one case he is down as Henry - I believe now because of the names on some of the baptism he was John Henry) their names. I have slowly been able to put together most of the details for them. Using the three towns they were involved in Wimborne area of Dorset, Christchurch and Ringwood, Hampshire  and what they have put down as various stages of their lives. Have now, by looking at the baptism discovered that there were two children Walter and William John, where before I had them as one child.  In no place do they appear together so will have to go through the Census information etc again to see which Census which one appears on.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
