    1881 100 Stanhope Street, Normanton, Derby, Derbyshire With the family however there is an Elizabeth (no surname, so could be wife's mother) a widow aged  70 born Newborough, Staffordshire.

    1901 16 Upper moor Road, Alvaston adnd Boulton, Derby, Derbyshire. With the family was a Charles SMITH a Boarder aged 23 a Bread Maker, Baker born Derby, Derbyshire 
  2.  I am told by Julie JEFFRIES that George Henry married Sarah Ann HARDY but the only marriage to a Sarah Ann around the correct time on the BMD is as shown and that is to a Sarah Ann WOODFIELD.
    1901 16 Upper moor Road, Alvaston and Boulton, Derby, Derbyshire. With the family was a Charles SMITH a Boarder aged 23 a Bread Maker, Baker born Derby, Derbyshire
    1911 25 Randolph Rd Normanton Derby, Derbyshire. Sarah's husband was not with her, but she is down as married. She is down as having had five children, four survive and one has died at the date of this Census. She is down as having been married 18 years. With the family was a Joseph BROOKS a Visitor aged 41 Single a Painter's Labourer Building Trade, born Derby, Derbyshire.
  3. 1893 (England & Wales Christening Records, 1530-1906 - Parent George Henry and Sarah Ann so I believe another child for this family. On the 1911 Census it states that Sarah had had five children, four of whom survive and one who had died, I think this is the one that died.

    1914-1918 There is a Charles Reginald JEFFRIES on the Canada Soldiers of the First World War. I believe this to be this Charles Reginald JEFFRIES but the birth years is one year out, They have his birth as June 20th 1896. However his birth place is give as Derby, England and his next of kin - Father George JEFFRIES. Charles is down as single and having the trade of a Signwriter 
    1925 Canada, Militia and Defence Forces Lists. The following appearsf or a JEFFRIES Charles Reginald;
    (Leiut. 12 Bn C.C. of S.) The War of 1914-21. France and Belgium 1/12/15 to 12/1/17; 18/5/17 to 12/8/18. Wounded twice. 1914-15 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal.
