1901 Lodging at 35, 37, 39 Campbell Road (Lodging Houses), Islington, London
William was shown as single on the census, but given his past history, he may have  decided that without his family he was a single man.
1911 Islington Infirmary, 77a Highgate Hill, Islington, London
Entered as a Patient age 80 so born 1831 but other details seems to correspond
as does the age entered for a possible death
  2. 1837 St Georges Row Camberwell, Surrey (baptism of James, Mary, Frederick and Emily)
1841 8 St George Row, St Giles, Camberwell, Surrey as AYNTHER in ancestry.com index
    HO107; Enumeration District: 5; Page: 9; Line: 14; GSU roll: 474651.
1851 Census - 6 Garden Row, St Luke Old Street, City Road, Finsbury, London. James and Frederick have an occupation which looks like Patent Fire Wood Maker, but I cannot believe this can be correct. Patent Wood and Maker are quite clear the Fire is of that length and appears to start with an F, but I cannot think of another word that would fit this.
1852 15 Moor Lane, Middlesex (address at marriage)
    1853 15 Moor Lane

1883 36 Engelfield Road, Kingsland, Hackney, Middlesex (address at baptism of Ernest Henry) (why was he baptised in Lewisham)
1891 Census - De Beauvoir, 57 Stamford Road, Hackney, Middlesex. Florence JEWELL, sister of Emily was living with them and James R CROSS, and family was either in the same house or next door. See CROSS Chart 0400.
1901 Census - I am certain I have the right family for this Census, but they are down as MILLS and this is what it looks like on the Census. Emily was a widow and living 390 Hornsey Road, Holloway, Islington, Middlesex. She is down as a Wardrobe Dealer. Her children all match the 1891 Census except that Emily M MILES her daughter is down as Maud. As the ages and names are right for Emily and her four children other than what I suspect is the use of the second name of her daughter I am convinced this is the correct family.
    1911 390 Hornsey Road Tollington Park N
We have a note saying she had a "shop selling blouses".

1891 110 Princes Road, Lambeth, London
1896 110 Princes Road, Lambeth, London (baptism of Catharine Alice) John is down as John Louis on this baptism but as address is the same as 1891 and 1897 I am sure it is a child for this couple. The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
