  1. 8 June 1767 - Jacques wrote a will whilst ‘living at present in London but residing at Jersey’.
In summary, he left everything to his ‘dear wife Mary’ during her lifetime, after her death everything was to be divided as follows:
To his granddaughter, Susanna Chevalier: £200 for her lifetime, after her death the said £200 to be given to his two sons James and Peter and divided in equal portions. If one of the two shall die then their children shall inherit the share which would have belonged to their father. If either son should leave no children then his share will go to his brother and his heirs.
To his daughters Mary and Ann: £500 each. If either should have died, then her children shall inherit the sum that would have belonged to their mother.
To his sons James and Peter: All the rest of estate in the hands of the bank. If either have died then their children shall inherit their father's share.
22 July 1797 - Jacques’ will was proved in London. Administration of the goods, chattels and effects of Jacques was granted to Philip Aubin one of the lawful attorneys of Jacques, and his son James, also known as Jacques, as his wife Mary (Marie) who had been named joint executor of the will had pre-deceased Jacques. The other executor, James Guillot of the parish of Christ Elwish??? Spittlefields London, had survived Jacques but had died before he could perform any duties as executor.1

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
