However there are 5 children listed on this Census as children but the eldest Albert is 9 born Midhurst, Sussex, which suggests that he was a child of a previous marriage of Samuel. All the remaining children were born in Ambersham, as follows, Harold 7, Alma Phyllis aged 5, Maggie aged 2 and Sam aged 3 months.
  9. 1881 Trotton Marsh, Trotton, Surrey.

There was a George Owen KARN born December quarter born1904 Midhurst district, Sussex, which suggests he was possibly a son of Owen Frank and Annie Isabel. As shown an Annie Isabel PUTTOCK died March 1979 in Worthing, Sussex and George Owen who was born 25th October 1904 died in December 1985 aged 81 in Worthing Sussex. This I think shows a connection as Owen KARN is a very unusual name.
Cannot find family on 1901 or 1911 at present, but it does suggest they did not emigrate as other members of the family. Have now found Annie without husband on 1911 Census.
1937 KARN Frank Owen of 96 High-street Steyning Sussex died 18 November 1937 Administration Lewes 21 December to Annie Isabel Karn widow. Effects £41 13s. 3d. (National Probate Calendar)

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
