The birth entry for Henry on ancestry.com is indexed as KETCHELL. On looking at the original index it is very easy to see why this has been done. The up strokes of most of the letters are missing, and the final "r" looks like to down strokes. However, several names above there is a name ending in "ll" and the line are longer. Therefore, given that there is a baptism in 1846 it has been assumed that this Henry KETCHELL is actually Henry KETCHER.

There are two Selina KETCHERs born in the September quarter of 1869, one in the Guildford District and the other in the Hambledon District, both in Surrey
There are two Selina KETCHER marriages in the Hambledon District, Surrey, one in the June quarter of 1889 and the other in the December quarter of 1906. How to decide which belongs to which Selina?
In 1891 the Selina KETCHER who appears on ancestry as Lehma but is Selina on the actual Census return showed Albury as her birth place. I have assumed therefore that this Selina is the one who did not marry in 1889.
Unfortunately I cannot find any children with the surnames CARPENTER, MOORE, CHURCH or STREETER with the mother's maiden name as KETCHER. Nor can I find a Selina CARPENTER or MOORE on the 1891 or 1901 census so I have not been able to find any other evidence to assist.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
