At Home
  1. 1841 Census - Maynole, Hoath, Kent
1871 Census  - Badlesmere? Cottages, Sheldwich, Kent
1881 Census - The Lodge, Milstead, Kent
1891 Census - 1 Albany Street, East Maidstone, Kent.
1901 Census - 2nd Lodge Gate, Mote Park, Maidstone, Kent
(I cannot at present understand why different children in different families were call SHELVEY, the only SHELVEY I have is the maiden name of one of the wives going back on the DOUGHTY line a female who married a ROGERS and then the eldest child married a SHELVEY, it seems too far away for this Daniel and several other children coming down the DOUGHTY line to be call SHELVEY as a second name)
  2. 1871 Census - Badlesmere? Cottages, Sheldwich, Kent
1881 Census - The Lodge, Milstead, Kent
1891 Census - 1 Albany Street, East Maidstone, Kent.
  3. 1871 Census - Badlesmere? Cottages, Sheldwich, Kent
  4. 1871 Census-  Badlesmere? Cottages, Sheldwich, Kent
1881 Census - The Lodge, Milstead, Kent
1891 Census - Cannot find at present
1901 Census - Cannot find at present -there is an Alice GRANT born 1863 in Kent living at 72 Renaard Road, Shepherds Bush, Hammersmith, London with a son Roy aged 7 born Fulham who could be the correct person, she is down as married but no husband with her. This is the only possibility I have found for Alice on the 1891 and 1901 Census.
  5. 1871 Census - Badlesmere? Cottages, Sheldwich, Kent
1881 Census - The Lodge, Milstead, Kent
  6.
  7. 1871 Census - Badlesmere? Cottages, Sheldwich, Kent
1881 Census - The Lodge, Milstead, Kent
  8. 1871 Census - Badlesmere? Cottages, Sheldwich, Kent
1901 Census - Cannot find - there are two  Edmund KEYS in Fulham in the same household and they are Carpenters and born in Herne and Sturry respectively, but the first is 55 with a wife Sarah and the second is down as son (not married) and aged 23. I think there must be a tie up somewhere, as I have the marriage in Fulham, there is also a Herbert KEYS marriage around the same period in Fulham and I also think that Alice the second child was living in that area in 1901 but at present cannot confirm any of it.
  9. 1881 Census - The Lodge, Milstead, Kent

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
