    1910 James, his wife Alice and his youngest daughter May arrived in Halifax, Nova Scotia on 28th March 1910 on the "Victorian" having sailed from Liverpool.
    1917 James and Alice made a journey to the USA in 1917 crossing at Niagara Falls.
    1922 James was still alive in 1922 as he sailed from Toronto to Quebec with his wife
    1927 Again James and Alice were still both around in 1927 and they had had a return visit to England as they saile from Southampton on the "MOntnairn" and arrived on 14th October 1927 in Quebec.
