  4. 1891 3 Harves Passage, Innocent Street, Boston, Lincolnshire. With the family was a Holmes MINGATE a lodger aged 37 a Labourer born Boston, Lincolnshire.
1901 13 King Street, Boston, Lincolnshire
1911 11 Locomotive Street Boston, Lincolnshire. Children Joseph Henry aged 3 and Sidney aged 1 both born Boston, Lincolnshire. With the family was a Lizzie SAVAGE down as sister but I would think of his wife, aged 13 born Boston, Lincolnshire
On the 24th December 2012 I received the following message regarding this family:
    Hello,
I came across your web-site, whilst searching for Savage.
I can confirm that in the 1911 census entry for Henry Mitcham’s family, Lizzie Savage (my grandmother) was Edith’s half sister, they had the same mother, and different fathers, Edith was the eldest , she had 7 half brothers and sisters.
Hope you have found this useful
    Susan
From this on the 1901 Census I have found the family at 1 Trafalgar Court, Boston, Lincolnshire. Head was James SAVAGE aged 31 a Seed Crusher Mill, with his wife Mary A aged 38 and children James 11, Florrie 9, Mabel 7, Hettie 6, Lizzie 3 and Lucy 2 months. With them was Edith JOHNSON Step Daughter aged 19 a Charwoman. Everyone was born in Boston, Lincolnshire.
And again from this on the 1891 Census they are at 6 West Row, Boston, Lincolnshire. Head of Household is an Ann JOHNSON a widow aged 70, then James SAVAGE aged 28 son-in-law a Labourer and down correctly as Daughter but also of course wife of James is Mary A aged 27 and then down as Granddaughter is Edith JOHNSON aged 9 and James SAVAGE Grandson aged 1 again all born Boston, Lincolnshire. (This ties up with information on 1901 Census)
And then possibly, as I can not find on the 1881 Census, there is a marriage in March quarter 1881 in Boston district, Lincolnshire of a Robert JOHNSON to a Mary Ann SHOOTER which could be the first marriage of Mary.
On the 1871 there is a Mary A SHOOTER aged 8 born Boston, Lincolnshire which seems to tie up with the Mary A's age on the 1891 Census etc., A Mary SHOOTER aged 31 a Widow a Laundress was the matoher and sibling William L aged 2, There was a Lodger with the family.
  5. 1891 3 Harves Passage, Innocent Street, Boston, Lincolnshire. With the family was a Holmes MINGATE a lodger aged 37 a Labourer born Boston, Lincolnshire.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
