Sophie was a servant but she was the first person shown at this address; There were two boarders Agnes SUTTON (19) Fruiterers Assistant, born Ramsgate, Kent and "brother" Arthur J NEWING (16) - but brother to who? He was an Ironmongers 
    Assistant. Note that Sophie married in the same year to an Alfred NEWING.  Both Alfred and Arthur were born in Canterbury so assume they were brothers.
