    1901 Census - 106 Cherry Orchard Road, Croydon, Surrey (down as PASSONS on the Ancestry.com, index, found by searching for Fanny born Shipley,
     Sussex). There was a Frederick PARSONS, aged 16 a nephew a Gasfitters Mate, (Railways) born Shakeham, Sussex with the family.
    1911 14 Rymer Road Croydon Surrey, There was a Visitor an Eliza TREE aged 30 a Domestic Servant born Horsham, Sussex.
    1938 8 Comptons Lane, Horsham, Sussex (address given at probate)
  2. 1861 Census - Smitherhill, Shipley, Sussex. Sarah and Fanny are down as visitors at this address. The Head is a Thomas MERRITT aged 54 an Ag Lab born Billingshurst, Sussex, his wife is Mary MERRITT aged 54 born Shipley, Sussex. The children are Thomas, William and John all Ag Labs and all born in Shipley, Sussex but the ages are difficult to read as they all have lines through them, but possibly 27 or 17, for Thomas, 15 for William and 18 for John, but that is the order they are in so William at 15 is before John who looks as though he is 18 and if Thomas is 17, John should have been before him as well. (The name MERRITT crops us with the family elsewhere with Billingshurst births, but cannot find a connection between the two families at present.
    1871 7 Cambridge Road, Hove, Sussex. Housemaid to the Honourable Louisa CONGRESS/CONGROVE? (65) widow born Ireland a Landed Pro(prietor) Ireland and her unmarried children Louisa (41), Augusta (36) and Jane (33) all born Ireland. A visitor was Caroline W SANDFORD (27) born Paris; British Subject. Other servants were Auguste CHRISTOPHE (25) Footman born France: French subject and Honorine ROUCON (27) Cook born France: French subject
    1881 13 Regency Square, The Palace, Brighton, Sussex. There is no head of house. Fanny was living with Mary A JUFFREY(?) (50) widow Housemaid born Southrepps, Norfolk.

    1939 49 Moor Mead Road, Twickenham M.B., Middlesex, In the transcript after son Basil there is 1 Record Officially Closed entry Living with them were married daughter Evelyn D FRANCIS and her husband Frederick H G FRANCIS. On the original document there is no closed record and the name of Evelyn has been crossed through in red ink and see page 21 added. On page 21 she is living at 29 Moor Mead Road entered as if she was the main occupant but numbered number 5, with 2 Closed Records after her. The name FRANCIS has been crossed through and GILMORE added above which would indicates she later remarried a GILMORE
