  1. 1861 Main Street, Somersham, Huntingdonshire, Frederick and Ann were living between William KEMPTON at the "The Rising Sun" and Robert KEMPTON, so I think confirming that I have the right marriage. On the 1861 their surname is spelt PEAKES, whereas on the BMD is is PEAKS. Also Frederick is down as Frederic without the K. No children on this Census.
I have put a query for the death of FREDERICK in 1863 as it appears that his son William was not born until about 1866. It is possible that William is not the son of Frederick, or that we have the death incorrectly for Frederick or the birth of William was not in 1866. Cannot find a birth of William that matches, the best is June quarter 1866 in Peterborough, but it should be in St Ives or North Witchford.
As can be seen from Note 10 the name PEAKS could have an E in it. I have taken what appears on the BMD marriages and what appear in most cases on the various Censuses. However as can be seen by the Will and also on some Censuses it could be PEAKES.
  2. 1841 High Street, Somersham, Huntingdonshire.
    1851 Bridge End, Somersham, Huntingdonshire.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
