  1. Have not been able to find on Censuses before 1911 but I believe family was in India, His father was a Richard Parker PITCHFORTh, Mother Mary THOMPSON, a brother Hector James Henry PITCHFORTH baptised in India and a sister Maude May Eleanore PITCHFORTH also baptised in India.
    1911 Return of all Commissioned Officers, Warrant Officers, Non-Commissioned Officer, Trumpeters, Drummers and Rank and File
    Appear to be in India although 1911 England Census.
    Only James Alfred Parker PITCHFORTH shown as too many people to list, Richard Parker PITCHFORD Squadron Sergeant Major aged 33 married down as being born in Hounslow, Middlesex though he was born in Alnwick, Northumberland
