She was one of 12 children of Samuel POWELL and Mary SMALL (or was it SMALE as Erica SMALE née WILTON thought when she first found Harold's family Bible?). We are intrigued because Winifred WILTON's husband's mother was a POWELL, as was her sister's husband. And Winifred WILTON's sister, Agnes Olive POWELL and her husband, Albert Ernest POWELL, were the grandparents of Jean WHEATON née TERRY and John TERRY! 1994 Manorbrook Bevis Close, Stone, Kent (address given at probate)
