On Free BMD the spouses for Hector John PRIOR are shown as Maud Emily GARRARD or Alice TURNER
However, on the 1911 census his wife is shown as Lily Ethel, she also signs the form with this name. I have found by looking at the actual BMD that the number of Hector John PRIOR marriage in 1907 is ib191 not ib181 as shown. Searching for ib191 in St Pancras in the March quarter of 1907 we find a Lily Ethel STACEY, there is only one man with what comes up an Arthur Emmanuel MILNE with the same ib191 but as there are normally four people to the page I think that there must be another incorrect entry and Arthur married someone else and we have found the name for Lily Ethel. On the 1911 is would appear she was born about 1887 and there is a baptism that come up in Camden in February 1887 for a Lily Ethel STACEY, the only one and there is only one birth in London for a person of that name. The actual birth was in December of the previous year.
No Hector/Lily E marriage between 1901/1911 found on FreeBMD
  4. 1891 4 Pratt Street, Pancras, Middlesex
1901 8 Graft Street, St Pancras, Middlesex. Boarding with them was Henry HEELS (41) Porter born Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire
1911 13 Pratt Street, Camden Town, St Pancras, London
  5. 1891 4 Pratt Street, Pancras, Middlesex
1901 8 Graft Street, St Pancras, Middlesex. Boarding with them was Henry HEELS (41) Porter born Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire
1911 8 Pratt Street, St Pancras, Middlesex . Boarding with them was Jim (?) MARIE (?) (26) single Music Hall Artist born India
1911 8 Pratt Street, St Pancras, Middlesex . (address at marriage)
  6. 1891 4 Pratt Street, Pancras, Middlesex
1901 8 Pratt Street, St Pancras, Middlesex (entered as age 7, see below). Boarding with them was Henry HEELS (41) Porter born Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire
1911 8 Pratt Street, St Pancras, Middlesex. Boarding with them was Jim (?) MARIE (?) (26) single Music Hall Artist born India
1912 8 Pratt Street, St Pancras, Middlesex. (address at marriage)
In 1901 Emeline is shown as age 7 when she was actually 12. We therefore thought that the Emeline on the 1891 census had died and another one born in 1894, but a death between 1891 and 1894 could not be found for the first Emeline, nor could a birth be found for the second Emilene about 1893/1894.
However, on the 1911 census Emeline is shown as 22, corresponding with the child found on the 1891 census, the one we thought had died before 1893. And there was another child, Eleanor Christian age 17, the age that the second Emilene would have been at this date who had not appeared on the 1901 census.
Therefore, I think it possible that when copying out the 1901 census information the enumerator had the following information:
    Emilene Mary age 12
    Eleanor Christian 7
But when he came to enter it up he entered Emilene Mary, then went to the next line, missed the name Eleanor Christian and made Emilene Mary 7
  7. 1901 Not found (see information for Eleanor Mary)
1911 8 Pratt Street, St Pancras, Middlesex. Boarding with them was Jim (?) MARIE (?) (26) single Music Hall Artist born India
  8. 1901 8 Graft Street, St Pancras, Middlesex. Boarding with them was Henry HEELS (41) Porter born Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire
1911 8 Pratt Street, St Pancras, Middlesex . Boarding with them was Jim (?) MARIE (?) (26) single Music Hall Artist born India
1915 8 Pratt Street, Camden Town NW (enrolment for WWI)
  9. 1901 8 Graft Street, St Pancras, Middlesex. Boarding with them was Henry HEELS (41) Porter born Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire
1911 8 Pratt Street, St Pancras, Middlesex. Boarding with them was Jim (?) MARIE (?) (26) single Music Hall Artist born India
  10. 1901 8 Graft Street, St Pancras, Middlesex. Boarding with them was Henry HEELS (41) Porter born Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire
1911 8 Pratt Street, St Pancras, Middlesex. Boarding with them was Jim (?) MARIE (?) (26) single Music Hall Artist born India

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
