    1871 Census - Lower Street, Soberton, Hampshire. Peter DOREY, Mary's father was with George and Mary on this Census
    1881 Census - Lower Street, Soberton, Hampshire
    1891 Census - Soberton, Hampshire. There was a Harriet EDNEY, sister a housekeeper, married, aged 47, born Soberton with the family on this Census.

    1851 Census - Horns Hill, Soberton, Hampshire. Mary was married on the 1851 Census but she and her husband were with the rest of the family. Peter was already a widower.
    1861 Census - Soberton, Hampshire.  (no husband at home with her) her brother  James is with the family. The father of Mary is also with the family hie is Peter DOREY, a widower, aged 56 an Agricultural Labourer, born Droxford, Hampshire.
    1871 Census - Lower Street, Soberton, Hampshire. Peter DOREY was with Mary and George and family on this Census. He was 68, an Agricultural Labourer, down as being born in Soberton, Hampshire

    1881 Census - Portslade, Sussex, James was a Boarder with a Alan WELFARE, aged 28 a Carter born East Chillerston?, Sussex and his family. (jus ditto's for address, have been back a couple of pages and just the same, so have just put Portslade, Sussex.

    1891 Census - Cardigan Lodge, Heathfield Road, Wandsworth, Sussex. Harriet was a Domestic Servant to a Joseph Poulter WEBB aged 61,a Retired Woollen Merchant born Wakefield, Yorkshire and his family.
    1901 Census - Lower Street, Soberton, Hampshire

    1891 Census - Tarring Street, West Tarring, Sussex. William was a Boarder with a Harriet SMITH aged 80,a widow living on her own means, born Lancing, Sussex. She had a Granddaughter with her and another lodger.
    1901 Census - 3 Glebe Road, West Tarring, Sussex. I am certain this is the correct person as his brother Edward was in West Tarring on the 1901 Census. He was a Boarder with a family called GOLDING.

    1881 Census - 181 Somers? Road, Portsea, Portsmouth, Hampshire. Eliza was a General Servant to a George BURBRIDGE, aged 33 a Builder born Gosport, Hampshire, and his wife, Matilda R L BURBRIDGE, aged 30 born Southsea, Hampshire and their children - Ida V G aged 12 a Scholar, born Southsea, Hampshire, George E aged 11 a Scholar, born Southsea, Hampshire and Bertha, aged 6 a Scholar, born Southsea.
    1891 Census - 2 Lumps Road, Landport, Portsea, Hampshire
    1901 Census - 7 Clifton Terrace, Portsmouth, Hampshire. Living at the same address was a Frederick BUDD, aged 25 a Brickmaker born Gosport, Hampshire (would therefore think he was a brother of Edwin), his wife Ada aged 26 born Portsmouth, Hampshire and their children Ada 2 and Frederick 7 months both born Portsmouth, Hampshire. There was also a Sarah SPARKS as a visitor on this Census. I have found a marriage of Sarah Annie ROTHWELL to a James John SPARKS so Sarah was a sister of Eliza.

    1901 Census - 37 Newland Road, Worthing, Sussex. Charles and Maria were living with her parents, a Frederick CHALCROFT aged 56 a Bricklayer born Worthing, Sussex and Maria CHALCROFT, aged 59 born Worthing, Sussex (Maria was down as Annie on the BMD Marriage details)
