    1871 Census - Levenscore Cottages, Minster, Kent. As well as Henry and Mary and their son Henry there were six farm servants on this Census. I will not list them, but the occupations are quite interesting. They were Waggoner, Second Man, Third Man, and Waggoners Mate, Second Boy and Third Boy. The third boy was only 13 years old. The Waggoner was the oldest at 23, all the others were between these ages.

    1881 2 Chapel Place, Ramsgate, Kent. There is a Fanny SETTERFIELD Housemaid living at this address who could be this Fanny, although she gives her age as 28 rather than 30. Fanny is servant to Thomas H G SNOWDEN (73) widower born Sandwich, a solicitor, His sons, Northing W SNOWDEN (34) and Charles G SNOWDEN (29) 2nd Mate Merchant Navy both born Ramsgate, Kent. Thomas's daughter also lives with him, Caroline L H NORDEN (32), her husband Joseph (39) born Cape of Good Hope and daughter Jessie C C NORDEN (3), mother and daughter born Ramsgate, Kent. There was a nurse Ellen PHILPOTT (25) a widow born Ramsgate, Cook, Rose H TARRANT (28) Unmarried born St Mallons, Wiltshire and another Housemaid, Mary L PRIOR (17) Unmarried born Setcombe Regis, Berkshire.
