The marriage details at present come from a family tree on Ancestry.com. There are a more details to add for this family.
IGI Baptism, submitted by a member of the LDS church. Note that Eliza would have been 10 years old when baptised.
1871 Census - Rope Walk, Ipswich St Clement, Ipswich, Suffolk. I am certain this is the correct couple although David William is show as William, but they did not marry until 1878. as shown. On the 1881 Census they had a daughter Alice E SIMPSON born in 1872, they appear on the BMD as married in the March quarter of 1878 in Ipswich, Suffolk. On Ancestry.com there is a Family Tree which shows the date of marriage.
1881 Census - 7 Randalls Court, Ipswich, Suffolk
  3. 1881 Census - 7 Randalls Court, Ipswich, Suffolk
1891 Census - Rope Walk, Ipswich St Clement, Ipswich, Suffolk. Alice is down as daughter, but the person she is with, Harriet SIMPSON is 71 living on her own means and born in Ipswich, Suffolk, so I think it should be Granddaughter. There is also a James SIMPSON who is down as son aged 25 born Ipswich, Suffolk who is a musician. There is with the family a Robert BURGESS, who is 18 and a Mariner, down as a visitor, but I think he is related and appears on BURGESS Chart 0401. I think this confirms it is the correct Alice, but what had happened to her parents who I cannot find after 1881.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
