  1. 1881 Census - 73 Russell Street, Peterborough, Northamptonshire.
  2. 1891 Census - 100 Cemetery Road, Doncaster, Yorkshire.
  3. 1901 Census - 100 Cemetery Road, Doncaster, Yorkshire.
  4. 1861 Census - East Delph, Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire. Sarah is down as wife's daughter, so her mother had married again. The information on this Census is as follows: James HARRIS, 35 an Ag Labourer, born Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire, his wife, Susan HARRIS, aged 39 a Grocer, born Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire, George HARRIS, aged 4 months, born Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire, Sarah STALLABRASS, wife's daughter aged 5 born Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire.
  5. I have searched before on the 1851 for this name for another family. They do exist as the Cambridgeshire Family History Society lists them but for some reason Ancestry.com does not show large parts of Whittlesey. I have contacted them but to date they still do not appear.
  6. 1871 Census - East Delph, Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire.
  7. 1881 Census - Peterborough End, Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire. There is a HARRIS (no first name) 3 days, Grandson born Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire, with the family on this census
  8. 1891 Census - Peterborough End, Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire. There is a Henry HARRIS, Grandson, Aged 10, born Whittlesey with James and Susan on this Census. (the unnamed child on the 1871 Census), he is down as a Scholar.
  9. 1901 Census - 32 Randell Street, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire. It appears that Mary Ann had married a Samuel HIGHFIELD, her father James HARRIS now a Widower and Henry, the Grandson on the 1881 and 1891 Census was with the HIGHFIELD family. I would think therefore that Henry was the son of Susan who possibly died in childbirth. Henry was a Whitesmith on this census.
  • The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
