  1. 1828 Crow Lane, Cranley, Surrey (baptism of William)
1841 Gaston Farm, Cranley, Hambledon, Surrey, Living in same property as James KILLICK (40) Farmer, Lucy (35), John (15), Mary (14), Lucy (12), James (9), Joseph (7), Amelia (2) None of the born in Surrey and Caleb (1) born Surrey. Living with them were Catherine AYLING (19) Female Servant born Surrey, George BOTTING (30) Male Servant not born Surrey and William STEMP (13) Male Servant born Surrey
1851 Nooks Lodge, The Village, Banstead, Surrey. Indexed as STAMPS in findmypast. Visiting his sister Caroline William GREEN (25) Ag Lab born Walton, Surrey, Caroline GREEN (35) born Not Known, Surrey and William STEMP (23) Ag Lab born Cranley, Surrey
    1854 Mickleham, Surrey (at marriage)
  2. IGI baptism, we have the parents for Fanny as James and Mary and this baptism conforms with this, and Woodmansterne is not far from Mickleham where William and Fanny married so I would think this is the correct baptism, we had the birth down as 1834, so again 1833 is very close. There were two other baptisms in the same batch so would think they were also children of James and Mary, they were Benjamin PARFITT baptised 19th April 1835 and William PARFITT baptised 21st May 1837. Will put a Chart on for this family.
1841 Hanock, Chipstead, Reigate, Surrey as Frances. Certain this is the correct family, down as PARFIT, as they have a James CHITTY, aged 10 with them and CHITTY was the maiden name of Mary. However it would appear that Fanny is down as Frances on this Census, although she appears on the IGI and in Baptism Register as Fanny. William also ties up with the IGI baptism although there is no Benjamin. James PARFIT (35) Ag Lab born Surrey, Mary PARFIT (35) born Surrey, Frances (9) born Surrey, William (4) born Surrey, Thomas (2) born Surrey, Infant (male) (1 month) born Surrey and James CHITTY (10) born Surrey.
1851 Sutton Green, Epsom, Surrey Indexed as PERFECT on findmypast. Thomas HARRISON (62) Fund Holder born Banstead, Surrey, wife Sarah HARRISON (49) born Bristol, Gloucestershire and daughter Sarah HARRISON (16) born Sutton, Surrey. Servants were Sarah MILLS (18) born Westerham, Kent and Fanny PARFITT (20) born Chipstead, Surrey
Information from Matthew MOLONEY to John TERRY 16/9/2010

I also think Fanny PARFITT may have married again - or it is indeed another of the same name. I also believe her death cert isn’t as a STEMP but PARMENTAL.
  3. 1851 High Street, Linton, Cambridgeshire. Elijah PARMENTER aged 40 a Farm labourer born Linton, Cambridgeshire, mary Ann PAMENTER aged 38 Wife of Farm Labourer born Linton, Cambridgeshire, Children all born Linton, Cambridgeshire, Emma aged 19 a Servant, the Robert aged 17 followed by Martha aged 11 a Scholar, Eliza 8 a Scholar, Sarah 6 a Scholar, Mary Ann 4 a Scholar and Alfred 1 down as At Home.
1903 Canning Street, North Ipswich, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia (obituary)
Obituary for Mr R PAMENTER, Queensland Times & Ipsiwch Jeral on 27th June 1903
    DEATH OF MR. R PAMENTER
Another of our very old colonists passed peacefully away at half-past 9 o'clock on Tuesday evening last in the person of the late Robert Pamenter, of Canning-street, North Ipswich. Deceased, who was 69 years of age, was well and favourably known in the town and in many of the country districts. He was a native of Linton, Cambridge, England, and left there when he was about 29 years old - just about 40 years since  and took ship to Moreton Bay. From Brisbane he went over to the tin-mines at Stanthorpe. At that place he engaged in tin-mining, and at times went to the shearing-sheds in that locality. Leaving there he came to Ipswich, where he was employed by the Government to drive a team of horses between Ipswich and Brisbane, and in that capacity he was recognised as one of the ablest of drivers. That, of course, was before railway communication between the two towns was effected. Subsequently, he obtained employment in the local railway work-shops at North Ipswich, and worked there for about 15 years, retiring some 12 years ago. For several years he had been troubled very much with rheumatism, and a fortnight back he was compelled to take to his bed, being unable to move about without help. Dr. Macdonald attended him. His only daughter, Mrs G. Keidge, was unremitting in her nursing of him, but all care was of no avail, and he died at his late residence at the time stated, death being due mainly to general break-up of the system. His wife pre-deceased him by some 17 years. He leaves only one daughter (mentioned above) and two sons Messrs. Mark and William Pamenter, the former of which resides in Sydney, New South Wales, and the latter - who was present at the funeral - at Christmas Creek, some 20 miles from Beaudesort. The funeral took place on Thursday afternoon, at 3 o'clock, when a number of friends followed the remains to their last resting place at the Ipswich cemetery, where he was later interred next to his wife's grave. The last sad rites for the dead were impressively performed by Adjutant Renshaw.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
