The Census shows Vera as Head of House, age 16, married 2 years with one child and one child living. So, despite comments entered for 1920 census below, which was found before this 1910 census, Genevieve was Vera's daughter 1920 Rat Root, Koochiching, Minnesota, USA, Living with Leonard and Vera were her brothers Howard and Bert, together with another "brother-in-law" Edward ATYES (26) Married Labourer ????? Woods born Michigan, USA (this was not logging woods like Howard). Boarding with them was Charley PRICE (32) Labourer ????? Woods (same as Bert) born Poland. There was also a daughter age 16. It is difficult to read the age of Vera and it does look like 36 whereas as she was born in 1894 she was only 26. Originally I did not think it was the right family but with the brothers Howard and Bert living with them it must be. Therefore, it would seem that Leonard had been married before. More research required 1930 Rat Root, Koochiching, Minnesota, USA Age for Vera on this census is 37, which is approximately correct therefore it ought to have been 26 on the 1920 census and the daughter must be from an earlier marriage for Leonard. 1984 32055 Lake City, Columbia, Florida 1900 Hendricks, MacKinac County, Michigan, USA 1910 Hendricks, MacKinac County, Michigan, USA.
