Comment from John TERRY's web site
I think that although named Lucy on the 1871 Census that this is our Eliza. I cannot find an Eliza but as Lucy is living in the same house as a James TERRY of the correct age who she married in 1876. I feel as both of them are born in the correct places and are of the correct age that this must be this couple.

A message received 9th February 2006 from Donald KNIGHT, (see KNIGHT Chart 0200) regarding Ethel TERRY. The complete emails is as follows:
    Hello John
I have a at last found some information relating to my Great Aunt Ethel. She married, details as on your website, James Andrew Condick born 1885 at Beaufort Victoria Australia. he died in 1953 at Tongala Victoria. He was in Europe as a soldier in World War 1 prior to which he was brick maker at Kyambram Victoria. His father was William Condick.
They had two daughters - Betty born about 1920, Joan about 1923 both married and had children but no other details at present. James & Ethel also had a son James William Condick born abt 1921 at Kyabram Victoria and was an orchard worker. He was then Lance Bombardier in the Australian Army No VX53514 and at age 24 died in Brunei on 10 June 1945. I do not know cause of death whether it was enemy action, prisoner of war or whatever. Rather sad - just a few weeks before the war ended in the Far East..
I do not as yet have anything further on Ethel herself.
I will let you know more if I get further info from my contact in Australia.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
