    1886 On the 1891 Census Morris is down as married. There is a marriage on 10th January 1886 in Ramsgate, Kent of a Morris TERRY to an Amelia MOSES which could be this marriage. At the moment I can find no further details. See next sentence. We have found that Banns were call at St George, Ramsgate, Kent for Morris and Amelia on the 10th, 17th and 24th January 1886, but marriage date at St George appears to be on the 10th January 1886 which means if correct the second two banns reading were after they married and the first the date they married. At present we believe that the marriage did not go ahead for some reason which does not explain why on the 1891 Census Morris says he was married. Because of the doubt about the marriage I have not entered the marriage on the chart above.
    There is a Amelia MOSES on the 1881 Census in Ramsgate as a servant  born in Brixham, Devon but she appears on the 1901 and 1911  Census as Amelia MOSES. Single in the Minster Workhouse same age and born in Brixham, Devon so I would think the same person as on the 1881 Census. I cannot find a registration of the marriage in 1886 and cannot find Amelia on the 1891 Census. On the 1901 Census she is down as single but has a child Annie Pratt MOSES aged 4 born Minster, Kent. Amelia died March quarter 1925 Thanet district, Kent aged 65
