Obituary of Margaret Joyce WRESTIN née STEMP
    Margaret Westing
    February 12, 1926 - June 21, 2014
Margaret Joyce Westing - wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and so much more during her long and happy life.
Margaret Stemp was born in Surrey, England. Tragedy struck early: both her parents died before she was two years old. Fortunately her grandparents were there to raise Margaret and her older brother and sister. The three siblings remained close all their lives.
After the War, her brother brought home a fellow airman who was immediately smitten and who would become her soulmate. Jack and Margaret were married in July 1948. Son Graham was born in 1949 and daughter Pamela two years later.
Jack took the family to Canada and later to California, where Margaret worked for UC Santa Cruz for many years. She was a Girl Scout Leader and an epic Red Cross blood donor. In retirement Jack and Margaret settled in Salemtowne, where they were active in the Salemtowne Players, the Travel Club and with the Newsletter. They also helped children at the local elementary school, Brush College, for 12 years, until Margaret was 83. In 2012, Margaret and Jack moved to Avamere at Keizer, where they made many new friends.
Margaret was beautiful, feisty, fun-loving, creative and generous. She is survived by her loving husband Jack, her children, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
