    We cannot find a death for a Mary MURDEN between 1871 and 1881 but there is a death for Mary A MURDEN in December quarter 1918 in Huntingdon district, Huntingdonshire, she was down as Mary A MURDEN age 78 Widow Old Age Pensioner born Woodhurst, Huntingdonshire living in South Street, Woodhurst, Hunts in 1911, is this the same Mary MURDEN and perhaps Thomas had left his wife in 1881 and put himself down as a widower.
