    A Joseph WHEATON appears in the Court, Land & Probate, England & Wales, Criminal Registers, 1791-1892, Cambridgeshire records for the Epiphany term 1830. Does this information apply to this Joseph WHEATON? 
    Joseph WHEATON : Offence - Converting to his own use property he had found : Sentence - Judgement arrested
    Although the occupation does not appear to match all other Joseph WHEATONs are too young to be the one below. But the address is right and then the next entry mentions "Butcher" so I think this is the right man

    "Whereas a Petition, of Joseph WHEATON, at present, and for two years and a half last past, residing on the East Road, Barnwell, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, Retailer of Beer and Carter, an insolvent debtor....." The Notice goes on to say that Joseph WHEATON is required to appear in court on the 9th June at 11 in the forenoon for his first examination.
