  1. 1841 Whineray Ground, Dunnerdale, Kerkby Ireleth, Lancashire John aged 66 and Mary appear as the mane people. Then I assume son William aged 30 and then I think Hannah his wife also down as 30 (ages were rounded up and down for adults to the nearest five years on this Census), Then there is a Thomas WHINERAY down as 20 (could this be another son of John and Mary), then John aged 4 months who because of the 1851 Census I believe to be a son of William and Hannah, then there is a William PROCTOR aged 15 a Male Servaant and a Sarah TONSON?, 15 a Female Servant with the family.
1851 Whineray Ground, Dunnerdale with Seathwaite, Lancashire. John was head, with him was his son William aged 43 and his wife Hannah and children John and Mary. There is a marriage between 1861 and 1871 for a John WHINERAY in correct area but there are two makes and only one female and her name was not Anne.
1871 Whineray Ground, Dunnerdale, Lancashire. With John and his wife Anne Was Mary WHINERAY sister aged 27 born Dunnerdale, Lancashire. (the fact his sister was with him and he was at the same address as in 1861 makes me believe that their mother Hannah died between the two Censuses). The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
