  1. 1851 South Street, Woodhurst, Huntingdonshire. There was a lodger a William LAWSON a widower, aged 67 an Ag Lab born Connington, Cambridgeshire.
    1861 South Street, Woodhurst, Huntingdonshire.
1871 "Farmers Boy" Church Street, Woodhurst, Huntingdonshire. There was a boarder a John WATTS, age 50 unmarried, an Ag Lab, born Woodhurst, Huntingdonshire.
1881 "Farmers Boy" Church Street, Woodhurst, Huntingdonshire. On the information we were given we had an Arthur BECK down as a son of this family. I do not think he was, as on the Census there are the following with the family. Nathaniel STOKES, brother-in-law age 45 an Ag Lab, born Woodhurst, Huntingdonshire, Sophie BECK married, daughter-in-law, age 32, Millers Wife, born March, Cambridgeshire, Eva BECK, granddaughter, age 7 Scholar, born Godmanchester, Huntingdonshire,  Lizzie BECK, granddaughter, age 6 Scholar, born Godmanchester, Huntingdonshire,  William BECK, grandson, age 4 Scholar, born Godmanchester, Huntingdonshire, Arthur BECK, grandson, age 2, born Godmanchester, Huntingdonshire and a lodger a Thomas CHAPMAN, unmarried, aged 70, a Cordwainer, born Warboys, Huntingdonshire.
1891 South Street, Woodhurst, Huntingdonshire. Just James and Charlotte on this Census.
    1901 Church Street, Woodhurst, Huntingdonshire.
On a family tree on Ancestry.com a Joy BECK shows a Sarah BECK born 1870 and died 1879 as a child of this family. There is a birth in September quarter of 1870 for a Sarah BECK, but cannot find this child on the 1871, definitely not with the rest of the family. And I cannot find a death in 1879 for a Sarah born around 1870.
  2. 1841 Church Street, Woodhurst, Huntingdonshire, There was a Joseph BUTCHER, age 20 an Ag Lab with the family.
  3. 1851 South Street, Woodhurst, Huntingdonshire. There was a lodger a William LAWSON a widower, aged 67 an Ag LAb born Connington, Cambridgeshire.
    1861 South Street, Woodhurst, Huntingdonshire.
1881 Wash Street, Godmanchester. James is the Head but so is the next person, so he is by himself, but he is down as married.
It is possible that James married a Sophia CHAPMAN not Sophy (Sophie) HICKS as we have on the Chart above we are looking into this at the present time.
1891 The Causeway, Huntingdonshire- There is a James BECK aged 41 born Woodhurst Huntingdonshire, married to a Sophia as The Causeway, Huntingdonshire. I think it is more than likely that it is this James, he is a watch jobber and jeweller and has four children, the eldest Lizze is 16 a Dressmakers Apprentice, Godmanchester, Huntingdonshire, and if I have the correct James on the 1881 is would appear that is the same area. There is also a William and a Ruth who should also appear on the 1881. (I already have Sophia (without husband) and her children on the 1881 Census with James BECK and Charlotte
  4. 1861 South Street, Woodhurst, Huntingdonshire.
1871 Bridge Street, St Ives, Huntingdonshire
1881 Bridge Street, St Ives, Huntingdonshire
  5. 1861 South Street, Woodhurst, Huntingdonshire.
1871 "Farmers Boy" Church Street, Woodhurst, Huntingdonshire. There was a boarder a John WATTS, age 50 unmarried, an Ag Lab, born Woodhurst, Huntingdonshire.
1881 Cannot find at present, they were not at 70 Roman Road, Islington, as they were on the 1891 and 1901 Census.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
