    Information from Diana SUTOR 6/8/2009
We have a family story that was passed down through our family about Thomas CANNON and Ann COUSINS. The story goes that as a young boy Thomas Cannon was a stable boy for Thomas COUSINS and Jane WHEATON's family, supposedly in a higher standing family in the community. He fell in love with Ann and the couple eloped and Ann Cousins CANNON was shunned by her family when this occurred. Supposedly at one point Ann was standing on the street and her father drove past her in her in his carriage and when he saw her he turned his back to her. This was one of the contributing factors of Thomas and Ann (COUSINS) CANNON going to America after the death of Thomas CANNON's parents. I do not know how much of this story is true, as if he was the COUSIN's stable boy, he must have apprenticed with a carpenter at one point as that is his trade in the census records.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
