  8. 1861 Lees Buildings, Lags Lane, Holy Trinity, Coventry, Warwickshire
1880 Castle Street, Coventry, Warwickshire (address at marriage) (See note below, Walter is down as a Bachelor and Rose as a Spinster, so if first Banns are correct for this person he did not marry her, and Father in Law as BARNES on marriage he is down as William SPARROW)
1891 43 Castle Street, Holy Trinity, Coventry, Warwickshire. With Walter and Sophia Rose (down as Sophia Rose on this census) were Sarah DADLEY mother aged 75 a widow born Coventry, Warwickshire and a Samuel BARNES Father in Law a widower aged 65 a Shoe Maker born Coventry, Warwickshire. (Could this mean that Rose had been married before to a BARNES) Also there are Banns for a Walter William DADLEY in 1877 in Coventry, Warwickshire to a Mary Ann KEFF but there does not appear to be a marriage, either on Warwickshire marriages of the BMD.
1901 39 Castle Street, Holy Trinity, Coventry, Warwickshire . With the family was a Samuel BARNES a Lodger down as Single aged 74 Errands born Coventry, Warwickshire

1871 22 Leaper Street, St Alkmund, Derby, Derbyshire. With the family was a John MARSH a Lodger aged 41 a Labourer born Derby, Derbyshire and a Mary MARSH a Lodger aged 41 born Derby, Derbyshire.
1881 11 CT 3 Castle St, Coventry, Warwickshire. With George and his wife Eliza were Georges mother Sarah aged 64 married but David her husband not with her and Mary Ann, George's sister. (His wife is down as Eliza and this is the name on the marriage certificate, on the 1891 and 1901 Census she is down as Sarah, same age and also born in Coventry, but cannot find a death for Eliza and a new marriage for Sarah so might be the same person. The baptisms of the children all show the mother as Sarah, the first children were not born until 9 years after marriage to Eliza and then there are a lot, so I do think that Eliza must have died and he remarried a Sarah).
1889 38 New Buildings, Coventry, Warwickshire (baptism of Ellen Elizabeth)
1891 38 New Buildings, Holy Trinity, Coventry, Warwickshire. (wife down as Sarah, not Eliza)
1891 28 New Buildings, Coventry, Warwickshire (baptism of Lydia)
1896 27 Great Friars Lane, Coventry, Warwickshire (baptisms of Ada and Leonard)
1901 27 Grey Friars Lane, St John, Coventry, Warwickshire (Wife again down as Sarah, not Eliza aged 40 born Coventry, Warwickshire). Children all born Coventry, Warwickshire, Ellen E aged 11, Lydia aged 10, Ada aged 8, Leonard aged 5 and George aged 8 months.
1911 27 Grey Friars Lane, Coventry, Warwickshire. I have decided from this Census return that George did indeed marry again to a Sarah about 1884 as on this Census she is down as being married 27 years, would have been 30 or 31 if Sarah had been Eliza and just called Sarah. she is down as having had 8 children 5 of whom survive at the date of this Census and three of whom have died. She is also only down as being 48 years old again this does not tie up with the age of Eliza.
  10. 1861 Lees Buildings, Lags Lane, Holy Trinity, Coventry, Warwickshire
    1871 Not found at present
1881 11 CT 3 Castle St, Coventry, Warwickshire. With her brother George and his wife Eliza and her mother.
1891 Jubilee Terrace, Holy Trinity, Coventry, Warwickshire. Children John aged 7, Mary E aged 5 and Caroline aged 2 born Coventry, Warwickshire. With the family was an Ellen E HOLTOM a Boarder a Tob. Cigar Maker born Coventry, Warwickshire.
1901 115 Lower Ford Street, Holy trinity, Coventry. Children John aged 17 a Cycle Polisher, Mary E aged 15 a Dress Maker, Catharine aged 12 and Frank J aged 8 all born Coventry, Warwickshire.
1911 115 Lower Ford Street, Coventry, Warwickshire. With them was a son Francis Joseph TIMOTHY aged 18 a Shop Assistant born Coventry, Warwickshire. Mary is down as having been married 29 years and having had 4 children all of whom survive at the date of this Census.

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
