    "David Henry HEATH was born in Vernon Twp Crawford Co, PA July 13, 1843. In May 1844 he moved with his parents to Monroeville, Huron Co, Ohio. Here he resided until Apr. 22 1861 when he enlisted in Co. G. 24th O.V.I. and went forth with his comrades to serve his country. On Oct 23-62 he enlisted in battery H. 4th U.S. Artilery and served there until Apr 23-1864 when he was honorably discharged. But reinlisted again in Co. I (orJ) 25th P. V. V. I. on Sept. 28.-1864 and was at last mustered out July 15, 1865. On Jan 26 1869 he was united in marriage to Miss Sarah A. WHEATON of Monroeville OH. To this union were born four children, Harry B, Ralph M, Walter W, and Mary Ethel. On Apr 5 1886 he with his family moved to Fargo Springs KS."
