    Julie JEFFRIES sent the following information for the wife of William HEWITT on 28th March 2013. As I do not intend to go back further on this family I have put the information below:
    I think she is living in Nottingham in 1901 (born Beeston)without William
    Her mother is Amy Bottomoer/ Bottomore (1823 Beeston - 7 March 1895 47 Lambert Street Huyson Green)who wed widower William Astle (1825-1892 ) son of John Astle, in Derby 2 May 1847. William and Amy had children Samuel 1848-1898 who married Rebecca in 1881 he was a joiner living at 8 Ward Street Radford and emigrated to USA , Isaiah 1849-1937 who married Julia Hicks, Mary 1851-1928 who married Edwin Pottinger1848-1908, Sophia 1853-1944 who wed Ishmael Hardy 1843-1922, Thomas 1857, Trayton 1856-1918 who married Eliza Cross , John 1861, William 1873.
    Amy is the daughter of Joseph Bottomore who died 1840 in Basford.
    Amy has siblings
    William Bottomore born 1813 who married Ellenor and in 1881 was living at 9 Dragon Yard, children 
    Jemima 1847 -1918 who wed Thomas Hadden in 1866 Nottingham, 
    Robert 1849 who was living at 7 Dragonyard in 1881 and who wed Fanny amd had children Frederick, Ellenor, Catherine, Florence and Robert,
    Catherine at 1858,
    Enoch Bottomore 1827-1804 who was living in 1881 at Nether Street as a shoemaker with wife Ann
    Emma Bottomore 1829 who was married in Basford in 1848
