  1. 1871 99 Watson Street, St Alkmund, Derby, Derbyshire.
1881 5 Stockbrook Lane, St Werburgh, Derby, Derbyshire.
In September 1881 Thomas was in the employ of John EARP pork butcher maker of 65 Traffic Street St Peter Derby. (an article says that a crowd of boys were flinging mud at the shop window, Thomas went out to disperse them but gave the wrong one a black eye but apologised. Subsequently the father of the child with the black eye stormed into the shop, knocking the scales over and gave Thomas a box on the ear)
1891 86 Market Street, Stoke upon Trent, Staffordshire
In 1900 the family were living at 14 Main Street Long Eaton. Thomas was a master butcher.

In 1915 he is a Pork butcher at Noth Cliffe Main Street North Queensferry with estates in Jamestown
In 1919 Thomas was still living at North Cliffe North Queensferry. As the house is on a steep bend, this area was known locally as Jeffries corner.

A Julie Jefffries has given me a lot of information for the JEFFRIES charts, including this child, this leads me to believe that the family had moved to Scotland by the 1911 Census.
Julie on the 5th February2012 sent me by email further information for this child and family as follows:
William Henry Jeffries was born and died at Northcliff House, Main Street, North Queensferry. The informant was his mum. The family definitely lived in this house for a few years.
I think that Northcliff cottage is one of the ones that has since been sold off.
Northcliff is a rather nice house (quite an impressive view of the Firth of Forth- worth a nosey on the website northcliff.co.uk - is now various apartments for rent together with various cottages in the grounds including the laundry. see web site North Cliff North Queensferry. There also used an orangery which was demolished and to be two large cottages at the bottom of the grounds which were sold separately a few years ago, along with some ground

The idea of these charts is to give the information that we have found in the research we have done and put together and with the help of many other people who have contacted us over the past thirty odd years we have been researching our family. The idea is that you click on the Chart box in blue to be taken to the next family. There is now a large number of charts to be found and connections can be made to all the main families I am researching. If a chart has a box with the standard background it means that as yet I have not put the Chart on the Web.
To conform to the Data Protection Act all the Charts have been altered to exclude all details for living people other than the name.
